Crucified With Christ

It was such a wonderful worship on Easter Sunday, I get to meet the risen Lord the very first thing in the morning. The worship was a continuation of the Good Friday darkness we’ve being left in, Jesus is dead, the veil was torn, the sky darkened and then… what? Without Jesus, my world is hopeless. My world, the continuing being of life becomes lifeless, meaningless and hopeless.

How thankful! Jesus is alive, He is risen! He is risen indeed! Joyful tears can retain no more, bursting out and so does my love for Christ stirred with a gentle but powerful call. My world, the continuing being of life becomes lively, meaningful and hopeful again! God grants me courage to begin again with new strength. God grants me strength to love again when I am too weak too Love.  It’s all about Jesus. He, who doesn’t want us to just settle with ‘life’. He who grant us and enable us a life of a new creation! And it starts right now! Today!

How amazing, our faith runs paradoxically. Jesus gives out His life and gain more lives! He who died but risen! We who believe, gained, we count as loss. Who were weak, are now strong. "For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live!"

How sweet it is to the Lord that we made our way through all ‘life obstacles’ to see Him on Easter morning.

Love this song, the melody, the lyrics and the heart-felt passionate presentation reflecting the truth in our heart. (Can't find the live recording but the original is just as great!)

Crucified with Christ
by Phillips 'Craig and Dean

When I look back on what I thought was living I'm amazed at the price I choose to pay
And to think I ignored what really mattered
'Cause I thought the sacrifice would be too great

But when I finally reached the point of giving in
I found the cross was calling even then
And even though it took dying to survive
I've never felt so much alive

For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
Not I but Christ that lives within me
His cross will never ask for more than I can give
For it's not my strength but His, there's no greater sacrifice
For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live

As I hear the Savior call for daily dying
I will bow beneath the weight of Calvary
Let my hands surrender to His piercing purpose
That holds me to the cross yet sets me free

I will glory in the power of the cross
The things I thought were gain I count as loss
And with His suffering I identify
And by His resurrection power, I am alive

For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
Not I but Christ that lives within me
His cross will never ask for more than I can give
For it's not my strength but His, there's no greater sacrifice
For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live

And I will offer all I have so that His cross is not in vain
For I found to live is Christ and to die is truly gain

For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
Not I but Christ that lives within me
His cross will never ask for more than I can give
For it's not my strength but His, there's no greater sacrifice
For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
For I am crucified with Christ and yet I live
